A Laurel Haven was only recently completed in January, 2004. Mark Gof is the owner/contractor. His wife, Phyllis is the decorator, and together they have created what they think busy, overworked people would want to "get away" to. The interior consists of wide palnk pind flooring, hammer beam vaulted ceilings, and a beautiful mountain laurel stairwell leading to the upstairs bedroom and bath. We also have a stone gas fireplace to complete the ambiance. The cabin is furnished with antiques and rustic furniture. If that's not enough, there is a tree in the middle of the cabin! Amenities: Central Heat/Air Conditioning, dishwasher, TV, DVD, VCR, telephone, full kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, books and games, cooking utensils, bed linens (queen, 2 twins, double sofa bed). towels, kitchen linens, washer/dryer, gas grilll. Smoking is allowed on outside porches. There is a private pond you may fish in. We do allow house broken pets.
